Acknowledged for their excellence, they were designated as tribute items to the imperial court during the Ming Dynasty and received acclaim in the second list of state-level intangible cultural heritage items.

Tianmu Lake White Tea, renowned for its unique production techniques derived from traditional methods in Liyang, represents a prime example of flat green tea production. Its inclusion in the Jiangsu provincial list of intangible cultural heritage items in 2023 underscores its cultural significance.

Originating from the Sui (581-618) and Tang Dynasties and flourishing during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Jintan Paper Carving showcases intricate hollow-out designs using paper and knives. Recognized for its artistic value, it earned a place in the second list of state-level intangible cultural heritage items in 2008.
