China Automotive Technology & Research Center (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. inaugurated its new campus in the Wujin National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone on June 13. The ceremony also marked the unveiling of the Enterprise Joint Laboratory.

The first phase of the new campus spans approximately 55,000 square meters. It is designed to address key industry trends by establishing testing and R&D capabilities in vehicle performance, energy and power environments, core components of new energy, intelligent connectivity, and electromagnetic compatibility. By integrating consulting, R&D, and testing into a unified platform, the center aims to deeply embed itself in regional industrial development, driving innovation in technology and products.

Tian Yongjun, general manager of the Changzhou branch, stated that the company has assembled the most comprehensive intelligent network resources in the Yangtze River Delta region. The new facilities boast capabilities in intelligent driving, in-car networking, and complete vehicle antenna OTA (Over-The-Air) testing. Additionally, they offer systematic testing for full-vehicle EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), low-voltage component EMC, and high-voltage component EMC. With a focus on new energy and intelligent connectivity, the center aspires to become a leading automotive public service platform in East China and a top-tier facility nationwide.

The Changzhou facility is a third-party automotive product inspection and testing agency, wholly owned by China Automotive Technology & Research Center Co., Ltd. It has been accredited by China Inspection Body and Laboratory Mandatory Approval (CMA) and China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), with its accreditation scope currently encompassing over 800 items.
