AAC Optoelectronics Technology (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. has been distinguished as the only 5G factory in Changzhou, according to the 2024 list of Jiangsu province's 5G factories and industrial internet platforms. Out of the 15 facilities recognized across the province, AAC Optoelectronics’ 5G smart factory for acoustic devices in Wujin district stood out.

The factory harnesses the power of a comprehensive 5G network to implement key application scenarios. By utilizing advanced systems such as ERP, MES, SFC, IoT, and PDCA, it enables real-time data collection and monitoring of critical equipment and product metrics. This sophisticated setup allows for full lifecycle quality traceability of products and optimizes production resources and plans, thereby enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. Moreover, by integrating core information systems across research, production, supply, sales, and service, the factory eliminates information silos, fostering data sharing across the value chain and accelerating advancements in smart manufacturing. These innovations further solidify AAC Optoelectronics' leadership in the industry.

In recent years, Wujin has prioritized digital transformation as a key strategy for industrial advancement. The district has strengthened the provincial 'Industrial Internet + Advanced Manufacturing' specialized industrial base, offering counseling and troubleshooting services to nearly all major enterprises. By setting benchmarks within the provincial '1650' industrial system, which includes 16 advanced manufacturing clusters and 50 supply chains, Wujin has facilitated the inclusion of nearly 200 enterprises in the Jiangsu Provincial Digital Industrial Integration Platform Demonstration Enterprise Reserve. To date, the district boasts one national-level smart manufacturing demonstration factory, one national-level 5G factory, ten provincial-level smart manufacturing demonstration factories, six provincial-level industrial internet benchmark factories, one provincial-level 5G factory, and twelve provincial five-star cloud-enabled enterprises.

It is also promoting the integration and application of modern information technologies, such as 5G and artificial intelligence (AI), in smart manufacturing and the industrial internet sectors.
