On the afternoon of May 21st, the "521" Green Power China Tour commenced with a ceremony at the Administration Center of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government. The event gathered notable figures including Pan Yuelong, chairman of the Supervisory Board of China Electricity Council (CEC), Liu Yongdong, deputy secretary-general of CEC, Lu Linyan, chief representative of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in China, Zeng Shaojun, secretary-general of the China New Energy Chamber of Commerce (CNECC), Yang Fen, member of the Changzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and director of the United Front Work Department, and Xu Huaqin, deputy mayor of Changzhou.

Liu Yongdong appreciated Changzhou for its commendable progress towards becoming the New Energy Capital. He acknowledged the city's robust new energy industry chain and practical applications of new energy. As a national organization in the electric power industry, the CEC actively engages in power dispatching and consumption. It will strengthen collaboration with Changzhou to drive the development of the new energy industry and contribute to the nation's "dual-carbon" goals.

A notable highlight of the event was the inauguration of Changzhou's first green power station, integrating solar energy storage, charging, and distribution. Spanning an area of 1,300 square meters, the station features a 142-kilowatt photovoltaic canopy, capable of generating 350 kilowatt-hours of electricity daily. With an annual reduction of 160 tons of carbon emissions, it accommodates a charging pile capacity of 1,227 kilowatts, enabling simultaneous charging for 43 new energy vehicles. The station employs Star Charge's self-developed energy management system to ensure effective utilization of clean energy by new energy vehicles.

Star Charge, recognized as a leading domestic operator of charging and swapping services, was honored with the title of "Green Travel Pioneer" during the event. Additionally, the company introduced the Urban Smart Empowerment Platform and Star Rating Certification Standards.
