Recently, MIT Technology Review released the MIT 50 Smartest Companies (TR50) 2022. The TR50 has long been seen as a directory of emerging technologies and a map of global technological innovation as TR50 has its special criteria focusing on enterprises’ capability to implement and commercialize emerging technologies.

SVOLT Energy Technology Co., Ltd., based in the Jintan district of Changzhou, is on this year’s TR50 list for its achievements in mass-producing cobalt-free battery cells. The company is committed to promoting a safe, efficient, clean, low-carbon footprint and smart eco-system for mobility and society’s energy revolution.

MIT Technology Review, founded in 1899 as The Technology Review, is a bimonthly magazine wholly owned by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and editorially independent of the university. Each year since 2010, the MIT Technology Review has selected 50 Smart Companies from a list of thousands of technology companies around the world to share its insights into the frame of future technology.
