On April 8th, the LiuGong Global R&D Center East China Research Institute was officially inaugurated in Changzhou. Alongside this, the LiuGong University East China Campus was also unveiled, solidifying the corporation's commitment to talent development and innovation.

LiuGong, officially Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd., is a Chinese multinational construction machinery manufacturing company headquartered in Liuzhou, Guangxi province. It is one of the world's largest manufacturers of construction equipment and wheel loaders.

The newly established institute will offer effective support to LiuGong's East China subsidiaries in fields such as new energy technology, intelligent technology, and digital technology, driving continuous enhancements to LiuGong's technical advantages and elevating the engineering machinery industry's overall technical capabilities. Taking advantage of Jiangsu province's favorable location, the institute will attract exceptional technicians and foster a highland of talents, knowledge, and technology.

As a talent training platform, LiuGong University East China Campus will provide a comprehensive range of courses to improve staff’ professional abilities, management abilities, and general abilities. The university will make full use of the advantages of higher education concentration in East China and act as a vital hub for integrating intellectual resources between LiuGong's headquarters and its East China subsidiaries. This will facilitate the corporation's comprehensive development.

Since its establishment in Changzhou in 2010, LiuGong's East China R&D and Manufacturing Base has undergone 13 years of hard work and has now become a research and manufacturing base for multiple product lines, including excavators, bulldozers, mining equipment, and small engineering machinery.
